The UAE offers golf at its most polished. I lived in Dubai — the roads, the clubs, the culture. Emirates Golf Club, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Trump International in Dubai. Yas Links and Saadiyat Beach in Abu Dhabi — the better courses, the real wealth. Alcohol is available at licensed hotel venues. No walk-in hotel culture — security checks everywhere. During Ramadan, daily life slows considerably. Green fees $110–400. October–April only. Summer is unbearable — the deals aren’t worth it.
